Well, truck has a date with the flatbed. Post on the clutch pedal gave way, and she(pedal) went to the floor. I've fixed it once about 4yts ago, but guess I need to hone up on my welding skills...
^^^not bad. Might have to take a gander at that tomorrow. Got the pedal and post removed from la trucka, but with the move in January, have yet to hook up 220v in garage to fire the welder or else this pig be back on the road
Instead of going thru the hassle of cutting the bolt, drilling out the pedal arm..etc, what if we got the correct bolt for the pedal hole, then a nut to go with and the correct length of bolt, so then you just add a sleeve over the bolt and thru the master rod. As CHRIS pointed out in that thread, atleast then with sleeve, there would be no binding...(plus, tax weld bolt to pedal arm and not loctite it, to it.. )
Need to get back on road, so welded post but countersunk hole so more weld to grab. Add insult to injury, that damn rod clip cost 9 bucks, and dealer dont sell just the sleeves that the pedal rides on, on the post/shaft
Gotta add your thread to the tech folder revamp that should be getting finished up here in the next week or so.

Stewart, glad to have a status update, was actually going to PM you tonight for one, I am hunting for other threads to include (I semi split the head unit discussion so I may fire that your way if you want...)
Nothing quite like innovation. Especially when it works so well!
My dad was a machinist, he would always look into a way to make a tool the he needed. A friend of mine's father was an engineer. They were always looking for the correct tool to buy, if they could find it.
