I have a terrible squeaking on the drivers side wall, I have sprayed foam between the inner and outer skin with no help.
Here is the thing, when it rains there is absolutely no noise!
So, the water is acting as a lubricant, but I don't know where to start.
I have sprayed penetrating oil along the roof gutter, but no help.
I disable signatures, get tired of looking at them repeatedly. Its good etiquette identifying the vehicle in the opening post.
Cocot show us a photo of this van's interior nearest this noise, perhaps a bit of anatomy as to what's exposed to your view, what's not.
What sort of foam did you use, where was it applied?
Frankly I've never heard of or experience this sort of thing. Having built out several interiors with insulation and panels I might be able to see something or point you in a direction.
I used window and door foam so as to not put too much pressure on the wall. I applied it from behind the drivers seat wall to the end of the 2nd skin cutout for the side window, if that makes sense
I am told because I was driving, that the noise is more towards where the wall and the floor meet in line with the bench seat, forward of the gas filler.

I've re-fitted three E250 cargo only vans so far with insulation and interior wall panels, used as work vans. The inner structure and exterior wall sheet metal are fairly well known to me.
Most of us here most likely haven't experienced this same situation though.

I hear ya, with 10 similar vans, 3 at a time in service including one with 278,000 miles, I never experienced this.
I feel it must be a seam between the wall and the skin. when I saw the foam coming out from the bottom behind the drivers door, I thought for sure I had solved it.
I will post a picture soon.
This may sound dumb, but I started having a chirp on the front passenger side of my van, just like a serpentine belt but couldn't actually pin it down to that because of the different times it would do it. One day I closed the passenger door while outside the van and heard it. It turned out to be the hubcap on the front right wheel.. I think.. I haven't taken it off yet.. It actually sounded like it was coming from inside the finder. Are you sure it is not something to do with the rear wheel or axle?
