A/C drain issue
My A/C feezes up in the summer, and I think partly it is due to the fact that it is not draining.
My AC will freeze up, then if I shut the truck off and wait ten minutes or so, it will start draining heavily. But it does not drain from the drainage tube.
While the AC is running and fan is on, you can feel air blowing out of the drainage tube, so I cant see that it is blocked.
I have figured out that if I manually switch the ac on-off while driving, it will not freeze up. I have a new cycling switch installed as well.
This is not my photo, but my exact situation: It is supposed to drain from the green arrow, but after it freezes up and starts to thaw, it drains from where the red arrow is.
Here is someone else's thread, exact scenario as mine: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...n-problem.html
Any Ideas where I should start looking??
Thanks
