cab mount questions

Hey guys! super new to the site but have been cruising threw here for months and.finally decided to ask some questions and.your the crowd I'm looking for!
so I'm in the process of restoring my 66 f250 got to the cab inspection plates and found they are in dire need of replacement. did some research and my question is about Dennis carpenter VS LMC cab mounts.. I have read good and bad on LMC and know that Dennis carpenter is my first choice but price wise LMC has them beat but if I learned anything from this site is that good work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't good LOL not intending on welding on my self going to.have the local body shop do that for me (still need to have the job quoted.) but wanted to get some opinions on who I should buy the cab mounts from! same with the center cab/floor pan center reinforcement brace as well!
anything helps thanks FTE guys and gals!!

thanks for the reassurance for Dennis carpenter I would rather spend the extra money and have a lot better quality part! then my question would be about the radiator core support.. it seems that 61-64 cores are common but 65-66 is iffy..Macs has a 4 wheel drive support for 66 but I'm thinking I can get away buying a 65' 2wd core support to mount? any suggestions? thanks

The Carpenter mounts are just like the originals and require that you remove the old mount completely. Providing your floor pans are solid enough to weld to. The LMC type mount is a patch for a weak but intact mount where you can jack the cab up and slip it over the old mount and weld it on. Slick66, Dennis Carpenter, and others make parts and have dealers that also sell them, so Carpenter parts can be found at other places, not sure how to ID them without asking. 15-20 years ago there were several that did that. Rick at Carolina Classics made parts that Carpenter also sold & vise-versa.
