Cab Supports

Hello everyone its been awhile I 'm looking for some info on Cab Supports has anyone used the ones from LMC I need the floor support and the cab mounts for a 65 F 100. We are starting up on our projects again we shut down to build our new garage. Check out our Gallery We've updated our pics. The boy and I have been tossing around a lot of ideas its his 65 so the final decision is his. We are also thinking of using a old set of cab mounts if they can be salvaged. Any help or advice would be great Thank Guys.

The front & rear cab mounts (rubber insulators) are the same 1964/72 F100/350.

If I said it once, I've said it a 1000 times. lmc is not a FTE sponsor. Look above on this page to see the sponsors that pay for this very forum: National Parts Depot, Mac's. Blue Oval Truck Parts and Auto Krafters all carry parts for our trucks.

Why promote lmc? They don't pay a cent to FTE, why should they when y'all keep promoting them?

No sponsors, no FTE...it's that simple!

OK oK so you've convinced me I'll use the L-- Catalouge to start a fire Its been awhile since weve gotten to play with our trucks or since I've posted. I did not see cab supports from any other source I'm looking for the sheet metal floor support and the sheet metal cab support. That the rubber mount fits into.

Mac's has the cab mounts, they are listed as fitting from '67-'79, but they fit the '65 and '66 with Twin I-Beam front suspension. I used a junkyard set off a '74 to replace mine. The cab support under the middle of the door I have only seen from Carolina Classics and it is the ends only, about 12"-13" long. Oops!! I see Dennis Carpenter also has them, part number C5TZ-8110624 at $50 each. Dennis Carpenter also has '65 and '66 cab mounts listed.

I think I am done editing now!

Hi I have the steel cab mounts from dennis carpenter and they are great quality. I think they are 14 or 16 gage. I would highly recomend them. I too am in the process of replacing the cab mounts in my truck along with the floor, kick panel, and lower front cab piller . Good luck

Dennis Carpenter is known by his peers both for making and selling high quality parts. IMHO
