f250 SD viberation

just bought 01 f250 sd v10 4x4 had vibration in front end turned out drive shaft was bad. replaced drive shaft and still have vibration some time. with hubs unlocked and in 2wd shaft will still turn guy i bought truck from replaced front hubs should i start checking hubs or transfer case help

welcome to FTE.
on a 01 4X4 i would suspect the front axle universals. when the get old they get tight, and this will cause a front end vibration.

Check the outer axle seals. My 2001 had a vibration that was on & off.... scare the hell out of you going down the interstate. Was a long time before I finally realized what it was.

u joints r good even took grease will ck seals next but dont know how seals could cause it but will check tks for info

not front driveshaft u-joints, the ones in the front axles in the steering knuckles.

removed front drive shaft can turn transfer case yoke freely by hand but cant turn yoke on front axel with manual hubs unlocked where can i find instructions on checking the hubs to make sure they were installed correctly
