My reverse lights don't always come on when I put the truck in reverse. I have noticed when I put it in reverse and they don't come on and I wiggle the shift lever (while in reverse still) they come on if I hold the lever in a certain position. Is the lever out of range? If so how do I adjust if?
The signal comes of the multiposition switch at the transmission
I replaced the neutral safety switch which fixed my transmission problems but I noticed that I have had my reverse light problem after that. Is it out of range do you think?

The mounting holes on the switch are elongated. You might try loosening the two bolts with the shifter in reverse and rotate it back and forth until the lights come on. Tighten them up verify that all other functions are working.

Yup that was my culprit. I put the truck in neutral (parking brake on of course) went under and the line one the sensor was off by just a little. Lined them up, tightened the bolts and that fixed it.
