engine delemma, need help!
I have a 65 f-100, with a 352fe, I did a little work on it, and now it spun a cam bearing, saved up some money to buy a 390 long block and currently all the suppliers are in a 390 shortage, but another option has presented itself, at my work we have a work truck a 97 f-250 with a 460 engine the motor was rebuilt a couple of years ago since then it hasn't seen much run time, now the tranny has issues so the are getting rid of it and I can pick it up cheap. my question is what would be need to do the swap, and what tranny would be best, I would like a 5 speed manual. if I can stay with in a couple of grand I can get most of the truck completed
