Spring swap
Would I be able to change my 86 f250 springs and shocks out for some off of an f350 for a little lift? I would like to put either some 285 or 315 and I have seen where people put 285 on no lift but they seem to be a little bit tight and might scrub.

Believe it or not the f350 front springs are softer and are a different design for the dana 60 solid front axle on the 85.5-up f350's. If you get any significant lift from them, you will run into alignment problems. Just like all the other twin I beam setups, your truck cannot be lifted over stock more than about 1.5 inches before it can't be aligned. And when you do lift it, it will require eccentric bushings be installed in the top ball joints.
Now if you can find a dana 60 from a 85.5-up f350, you can slide that under your f250 and raise it as high as the driveshaft will let you.
