Roving ground problem
I have a 1995 F150 and I seem to be having a ground problem. Every once in a while one of my windows will not go up or down and every so often I get a fault 53 I believe is the number for the airbag system stating one of the crash sensors on the front is not seeing ground. The reason I think both are related is because I have checked the windows when they won't work and I have power on both sides of the motor. I checked the ground wire from the fender to the battery and the one to the block and both seem to be good. If the one from the fender to the battery is the ground for the whole body the wire seems a bit small. Any ideas where to look? Like I said the problems are not always there and both Windows don't go out together either.
