Bakflip G2 Installed

They are nice. I've got to say though, the long bed version has bigger panels and there are 4 of them. The product is not built sturdy enough to hold up to daily use because the long bed version is so much heavier. I still like it and all but mine is close to falling apart completely after 18 months. The rear panel has delaminated from itself, the latches don't engage, and I expect it to fail any day now. I think it's just not up to the extra weight for long beds.
The short ones I've had lasted forever and the one on my dads f150 has also lasted, so all in all, it's a decent cover.

I got a G2 on the back of my short bed for 3 years now. Love it overall. It has some dings and dents from over the years. However, it has held up to the "abuse". Two things I don't like. The tracks hold a ton of junk. So if you do mulch in the spring and summer, just take the whole unit off. If you have the plastic bed liner, you lose about an inch of cargo space. I love the flat look of the cover but my big cooler does not fit under the cover by 3/4 of an inch. Other than that, it works nicely as a rear bench in the truck for me and the family when needed. Did really well in the large snowstorms we had over the last couple of years. This year I had over 28 inches at one time and just a brush off.
