"Harley, with 6380lbs on the rear axle I don't think he is suffering from too little weight there. "
Yeah & I know he's got air bags BUT 1" of squat ??? It just looks deceiving Because I don't have ANY truck set up that nice & I get plenty of squat. I have pulled most of my driving life & the only time I've had the high speed death wobble is when a load is not weighted correctly ( to heavy to the rear of the trailer). I might squat 4+"s pulling 12K BUT runs 75MPH steady as a rock
It is hard to tell for sure, but it looks like you could use a straight drawbar instead of the adjustable one. That hitch head looks pretty contorted and as if the front of the trailer does need to come down some. It looks like if you turned it over your load bars will be on the ground.
Were the wheel well measurements you took with the pro-pride or your old hitch? 1" high on the front is still about 400lbs off the front suspension, which doesn't sound like much, but will make a big difference. I'd try to work on getting that narrowed in through weight distribution and/or air bags.
anybody have a rough estimate what HIS excursion axle weights are without the trailer ?
When I did mine 4X4 I had 3500 More or Less on each axle. I put the front on the scale 3500 lb , I put the rear on the scale 3500 lb, I put the total X on & was 7000 lb. This is rounded & close BUT IT DID NOT make sense to me ?? I EXpected more weight on the front ??

I have never weighted a stock one but I would expect it to be close to 50-50
maybe 51-49 weight bias empty.
but if 3500 is close and he is at 6400 lb with the trailer that puts his tongue weight at close to 3000 lbs on maybe a 13,000 trailer ? that would be about 23% I'd expect some some funky handeling at best if 15% was where it needed to be.

I did those #s last night as well & gave up !!! Looking at the X THERE is no way he has 3000lbs on the on the hitch W/1" of squat

It looks like to me the load bars may have hit the trailer tongue jack/support on a hard turn, that would cause the jack U support to bend.
The draw bar (stinger) has a lot of ways to adjust, it took me a while to get it right. Oh, with a new camper on the way I get to do the setup all over again!
Ok just got off the phone with PP. he is going to send me new jacks for the hitch. It appears that there is something hanging on the WD bars but we are not sure what. I should have the new jacks before this weekend.there is a lot of good information flying around here and I appreciate all the help. Without me going back over the scales empty I'll never be able to answer most of the questions. I did go back over the scales BUT without my wife and 3 kids in the truck. So those numbers are pretty useless but here they are anyway.
With X loaded 3 kids wife and propride hooked and attached.
Front 3860
Rear 6380
TT axel 9100
With theX loaded WITHOUT KIDS AND WIFE. and no propride in the back.
Front 3860
Rear 4020
This was also less fuel as I had to run 40 miles round trip to get my other hitch.
I did hook back up to the TT yesterday but I lost my numbers but without WD bars it was only 1.5 inches of squat. My sherline says 1300# of tounge weight.
This evening I will be hooking back up to the camper to move it out of the front yard so I will get pictures of everything. I will be using the fastway E2 hitch
. This weekend I will be setting up the PP if anyone want to come play I'll boil some crawfish and get a few cases of adult beverages.
Oh and with the fastway hitch it pulls great so to me that takes the truck out of the equation. My problem is me not being able to follow directions.
Sean at PP is super helpful, these premium hitches can be a bear to set up.
My camper dealer asked about weight distribution, I mentioned the Pro-Pride and immediately almost ran into a corner to hide saying that will be on me to set up, his techs know nothing about them. Fortunately I have an old WD system for the car hauler that I can use to get the old camper there and the new one home.

Right after you posted that I was reading it to my wife and Shawn text me back and suggested he same thing. So we went and looked on the draw bars. And guess what. Y'all both are right. The foot has to go.
So for now the mystery of how and why it happened is solved now once I get the jacks in we can all get together and solve the problem of me not transferring enough weight
Once you get the system running again drive the truck, take a hard right turn, stop, get out and look at how far the mechanism twists and how close the camper is to the back of your Ex. You will definitely see why the wiring and chains need slack.
