No one will be able to give you a value just by asking what a freewheeling package is worth...no one knows year, engine, condition, etc. If there was a pristine condition and then a pristine condition freewheeling though, I'd venture to say it would fetch an extra 1k. In other words, I don't think it adds much value at all.
It won't let me upload pics. It's a 78 black short box with the stripes. Or sunburst down both sides. It has the original front and rear 3.50 gears 400 motor granny 4 speed. The interior is correct with the gray centers and orange piping and black frame as well as the door panels. That said its what almost 40 years old and has never been restored. It does have a aftermarket 6" suspension lift that was done correctly. Does not have factory slot mags or whatever they were called. Does not have the original front bumper has a heavy duty winch bumper does have original rear. Does not have the roll bar option. It does run and drive and I spent most afternoons at the hunting lease last season pulling everybody else out of mud holes. It's a stout truck and restored would be beautiful.
I cannot see the pic. I also have a Free Wheeling F100. Mine is a Flareside and is almost all original. Mine has the different striping option and is 2wd. I am sure it being a FW edition does add some value, but without everything else, it's just what someone will pay. If you could get the stripes you have reproduced correctly, it would make a difference when selling.
Here are some statistics from 1977 from my Marti report:
Or that was a style side back then I believe. Don't quote me though. I knew they had the courier the van the bronco and the short bed 4x4. Have never seen a stepside or whatever they called it. Wish I could put some time and a little money in mine. But I don't see that coming for years. So I'd rather pass her on to someone who can do what it needs. I just know it's a beautiful design even without the stripes. To me the black with the sunburst down the side is the best of them. I think yellow, silver, and black were options for sure. People have put the decals on every color it seems. Anyways thanks for sharing. You have a sweet ride bro
