I changed my west coast mirrors to the new repro sport mirrors and to answer your question, the hole spacing is the same as those on the upper holes for the west coasts on my 86 150 flareside. that was good news as I kept the west coasts in case i want to use them down the road. I much prefer the smaller mirrors especially when getting in and out of the garage.
So today I started cleaning the truck up a bit. I changed out the bumper to a not impact style one. I removed the big swing out mirrors and the wheel well trim as well. And I installed some later model aluminum f150 wheels with tires that fit alot better with the drop.
Does anyone know if the upper mirror holes from the swing out style is the same bolt spacing as the small chrome style mirror like this?
These mirrors are a direct bolt on, you will hole 2 hole left from the swing style mirrors unless you weld them shut like I did.
Little update. I bought my girl a set of 3" drop Crown Springs for Christmas and installed them tonight. It's now a full 6" drop up front and just an axle flip in the back. Still needs a c notch though. Pics aren't the best I'll try to get better ones during the day.
To answer your question about the O2 sensor, etc. on the first page, 1985 was an oddball year, some 302's came with a 2150 Feedback carburetor, with the TFI-IV ignition system, which was essentially a computer controlled carburetor utilizing the early EFI computer setup, kinda how GM did their vehicles in the 80's with the CCC Quadrajet carburetors. Some 1985 302's were also fuel injected. I know this cause I picked up a parts truck a few years back that had the feedback 2150 on it with all this. It was a nightmare to get going again so it wound up being parted out.

HTH!
Ken.
Thanks guys. It's a work in progress.
I asked in another thread about the weird wiring situation and that's basically what they said. The only thing running off the ecu/harness is the distributor so before I remove everything I'll need to wire up a duraspark or msd set up. Will be nice to get rid of all this mess. I guess I'll remove the cruise control stuff too while I'm at it.
