New Project Truck!

Well, I finally bit the bullet and bought a texas truck because living in the rust belt sucks. Its a 93 F350 IDI dually. Plan is to yank my powerstroke out and drop it in the new truck. The IDI has a blown head gasket so I will fix that and sell the engine, although I would hate to sell a great looking IDI with 40k. I am also going to put the Dana 60 under the front, and I'm still debating about whether to keep the dually or put my 10.25 under and go with a SRW. Thinking about dropping the plow as well and doing an RSK with my already tall front springs for a total of about 6-8" of lift. We will see.
Here are some pics!

Using my dad's 2015 F250 with a 6.2 to do the towing. Its doing surprisingly well so far, although we're just getting into tennessee so these hills will put the truck to the test.

I think this is in Tennessee on our way down. Some breathtaking scenery down here!

More pics to come!

It will keep me busy the next few months! I would like to take it to cruise week in Ocean City, MD even if it is not completely done yet. I think that if I did go with the lift I would look into running 37" military tires. Any ideas on what rims I can run? It has been pretty hard to find a good looking dually rim that can fit the tire.

Get some 19.5 alcoa wheels, with an at tire, imo those wheels just look right on our trucks.

I agree, I want a set of Alcoas but the military tires I want to get are 16.5" rim size. Do you know if Alcoa sells 16.5" tall by 8-10.5" wide? I can't seem to find much info on what Alcoa sells.

I'll look around and see what I can find. We got back about 315 am last night, after driving from Arkansas to MD in one go. Don't know if I want to do that much driving again!
