Thanks Hugh, hard to believe it's been over a year spent on the bed.

Dang that looks fantastic Bob !!!
Going to order the carb for the 79 this week. I really have to get that thing running again. I cleaned the wires ride this morning and hooked up our utility trailer, she has to go to Florida tomorrow and help her mother for a few days. Worked on the driveway for a bit as we were getting some pretty good pot holes. I really need to borrow the neighbors scape blade.

Haven't made it to the hot tub yet but I probably need too.

Another trip to the dentist at Ft Benning tomorrow.

Looks great, I wish I had access to a shop or workspace like that. Is the bed on a rotisserie?

Yes, Jon was offered the rotisserie many years ago, and had it sitting in pieces on the floor when I took the truck over. Having access to what is really a professional garage with having almost all the equipment, it has made my life a lot easier, and I thank Jon every time that I get to work on the truck.

The right tools always make things go a lot smoother. Wife and kids are gone to Florida to help my mother in-law so I have the ranch/zoo for the next couple of days. Really quiet and strange not having the family here.

I started my day by my wife telling two of the dogs were out. Open the gate and one came back in. Walked the fence line found the one spot that was just chain link vs the double fence every where else. They tunneled under . Some rear and 1/2 bag of concrete fixed the hole. The one dog is still out roaming. She will come home when she wants to. Did some minor stuff to truck hoping to trap the dog on the front porch or she would go back thru the gate. No luck. Did make some progress on the door lock. The electric will work most of the time and manual works, but the key is still not working right. I going back into it once the retainer comes in. If that don't fix it it stay that way. If I lock it Just unlock the passanger door and hi the electric switch

Been a couple days. Hows everyone? I got a stomach bug wednesday, whole shop got it next day HAH!
My Samsung Note 3 finally had it, and said bye. Dropped it on carpet! Yes carpet, (after the years of abuse in a shop) and the screen exploded. So I upgraded to the Note 5, and got a Tablet for next to nothing bundle deal. Going to use the tablet in the shop to help with some jobs and what not.

Brake lines got ran on the 66. I need a Brake line retainer clip, and fabricating my own rear brake line that NO ONE SELLS. Then new dust caps for the hubs, and be back on the ground, possibly throwing gas in it, bleeding the brakes, and riding it for a while. RUSTBUCKET DONT GIVE A F. Guess I shall name it that

The AC never worked on the daughters mustang since they bought it when I was in Afghanistan. They had a friend install a new compressor but it still didn't work.

So today I vacuumed down the system and pulled all the AC lines and ran some cleaner thru them. I installed new o-rings, new condenser, new drier and new orifice tube. Well we can plainly see orifice tube was completely blocked and why the system was not working at all. I hate people half doing stuff. I have the system buttoned back up and vacuuming down. I hope to get it working tomorrow as I have to get ready for a job interview.

They guy I told to 15 years ago felt threatened and did not think it was funny. But then I was not a typical applicant for that job. It was in the gas fields of WY and I was 40
