Looking into this, especially since I just bought a 7.5 gal air tank off c'list. 
Probably impossible to find an original system that is A) working and B) complete, so I'm looking to convert an AC compressor to the task. I have a single cyl York that I believe is from a truck. Finding the brackets and pulleys should be interesting. Air horns can't be far off!

You would just have to wire in a pressure regulator to cancel the compressor's clutch once the compressor built up the pressure you want.
