I'm pretty sure it's part of the 5th wheel prep package. However, I do know that the frame harness has the 2 plugs in the same location with or without the 7 pin in the bed. If it doesn't have the plug in the bed, the 2 plugs have "dummy " plugs in them. So you can always order the bed mounted 7 pin and harness and would be extremely easy to add.

Hey Dan, I'm curious if you ever saw the radiator leaking on the bottom corners of the diesel trucks during your time under the 6.7 powered trucks? I drive/tow my work trailers about 6,000 miles/month and naturally I have to check my radiator every day. The one on my current truck drips.
Also, do you know if this is improved in the new model?
I abuse my truck but the funny thing is, nothing wears out. The weakest link (non wear items) is the dang radiator.

Thanks for the reply. It is very nice of you to be available here so I hope that you feel appreciated.
If you think of anything else on the new truck that should be closely monitored I would appreciate it. It's pretty darn impressive that the integrity of the SD chassis/drivetrain remains so solid at the 250,000 mile mark. I've taken 4 of these trucks that far and never even lost a wheel bearing.

Lots of good information in this thread, thanks josh and Dan for all your valuable time and knowledge .. I'm looking to buy a f250 power stroke within the next year, I don't really need a diesel but traveling out of town for work really accumulates the miles and I'm tired of taking the hit on resale for high mileage f150's .. I occasionaly tow a 20' box trailer with a couple side by sides loaded up so I'm pretty sure the f250 will suit my needs .. I'm concerned somewhat about the ride and that's the big reason I'm not moving into a f350 .. Thanks for all the info
