I'm using a scan gauge so it's not the best in the world. I should have what is needed tomorrow. So I plug in the chip, hook up the usb and do what again, I'm not sure what I am supposed to be on the pc, any pics would be great

Are you saying you have a copy of AE coming tomorrow?
If so, they have decent directions to get the software loaded up on your computer. If you have the new USB version, you do not have to connected to the truck to install the software, the USB allows the computer to see the security chip in the adapter without OBD connection.
Do that part first, then go out to your truck...there are some decent guides on the forum to get you started, just do a quick search. Don't worry too much about PIDs and such yet, as you are looking to pull your codes.
I'll be doing mine in a few days, so if you get stuck...I can take some pics and such.
With the chip in the PCM, the USB cable attached to both the chip and your PC, start Hydraflash and allow it to connect (recognize) the chip.
Once the status shows "connected" and your serial number shows up on the bottom right corner, turn on the ignition. A green light should illuminate on the bottom of the Hydraflash screen. Select the "Hydra Chip" menu option at the top of the screen and then select "read ECU memory". Save the file to your computer hard drive. Note your chip's serial number. We'll go from there after that.
I will not have an AE tomorrow, what I meant when I said I will have what I need tomorrow is that I will be able to plug the chip back in tomorrow and be able to get the Ecm code off of it that Cody said I needed
This is my serial number , I did the read ecu memory thing and not sure what to do next. Also the hydra page says that stock is first and no start is last. Do I manually put these in or does it default to that?
it should go off after a couple of seconds with key on engine off. Follow Cleatus12r's instructions first, but I'm thinking there is a possible bad chip connection going on here - but get the programming straight first.
