Door lock rod connection
I finally decided to buy new clips for my driver side door panel, along with new clips for the door lock rod, which hasn't been in place for several years. After removing the door panel, I was disappointed to realize that I don't remember how to put the lock rod back in! I started Googling images of the door latch mechanism and linkages, but I've not found anything that shows a detailed image of the lock rod, how the clip at the end is attached, nor how the clip itself attaches to the door lock/latch. The issue is made worse by the fact that it's not easy to see inside the door.
If anyone could help me out with a detailed description or some pictures, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
