I'm hoping someone has some experience with a dealer type scan tool that allows you to read sensors, reset codes, and command actuators. I have a scan tool that will reset codes and display data but no forcing of functions. For my Toyotas, I have a $20 program and cable from Amazon that basically overrides the Toyota dealer subscription code but allows you to do everything the dealer mechanic can do. For my EVAP problem I'm dealing with on another post it would be really nice to test the Canister Purge Valve and Canister Solenoid.
