Today in my inbox I got an e-coupon from Harbor Freight for a "CAN and OBD II Professional Scan Tool" made by Cen-Tech. Regular price is $149.99 but now it is on sale for $99.99. Is this basically the same thing as the Scan Gauge tool I have seen mentioned around here? Anyone have experience with this particular tool?

Won't read ford specific codes...so basically worthless.


The codes it will read you can get read for free at most auto parts stores.

 

Thanks for the reply - but it mentioned reading "pending" codes which the scanners at AutoZone will not read. So I was a little confused there - don't worry - happens all the time!
