'74 P/U & PS pump
Really looking forward to getting the truck running again; you know the story.
Put new steering in, refilled pump, went through the bleed process, then noticed that the bleepin' pump leaks at the front seal; pulley shaft. Arrrggghhhh!!!!
Can it be resealed or better just to buy a replacement? It's the type that pressure & return hoses connect to the back. Appreciate any suggestions. Vic

I assume it's a Ford/thompson "pencil-neck' pump. It's resealable.. if the shaft isn't scored. Head over to YouTube to see how it is done.
Personally, I never turn in a core until after I replace the defective part and verify its replacement works and doesn't leak.
