I spy with my little eye a lot of parts here...

7 old ford trucks with lots of parts

Too bad it is 300 miles away near the Canada border. Blow open the map and you'll see what I mean.

Anyone want to go in on this who has trailers and a full tank of gas? We could share the divorce attorney fees too.

Dibs on the express bed and monkeyface lower front fenders.

Guaranteed if I made seven trips up there and back to get all that iron, there would be at least one moose collision to finish me off faster than my wife beating the hell out of me for decorating the entire yard with someone's broken truck dreams.

In seven years of looking for truck parts locally, never have I seen more than two '48- 52's in one place. I wouldn't be able to control myself if that group sale was closer.

Look what membership to this site has done to me.

PM coming your way, Scott.

When I bought my Merc this guy brought it down from N Dakota on this trailer...held three cars nicely. If you could rent one of these trailers it might make the trip a bit more realistic...

Like Scott said, there's a lot of open country out west here, and 300 miles is just getting started. I went almost that far to get my Mercury truck, 5 hours driving one way. I think the key there is to buy the property from the mother-in-law that's looking to move, then move there. it's got to be easier than moving all those trucks and parts. That meadow looks like a great place to build a shop.

If I had the freedom I had two years ago I would jump at a chance for a 300 parts truck run. I would spend a couple of days with a torch and scavenge all of the good parts and drag the rest to the closest scrap yard. It would be a great trip.

I like Waynes idea the best. (Buy the property) then start adding to that collection.

I just recently drove 304 miles one way for this.

All this just for the express bed!

This was one of those package deals. Came with a flathead engine extra trans. 2 merc crankshafts. (One of which was being used as a counterweight on the back of an 8n tractor for a blade weight) it didnt have much hope for it being any good but so far its been ground 20 20 and looking good) 3 flathead overdrive transmissions. Misc extra parts.
And a 48-50 truck bed trailer along with another 51 f3 truck still needing to be picked up.
