Okay, how about a few more details? Exactly why did you replace the pump? Did YOU replace the pump or somebody else? What brand of replacement did you use? Are there any codes present? How much fuel pressure do you have on the rail? Did you replace the fuel filter?
I know your frustrated that the repair hasn't gone as expected, but as Kruse has said, it would be helpful to provide the info he has suggested, as it could help focus & shorten your trouble shoot.
All that said, with the clues you've supplied about it wanting to start & run, but doing so poorly, puts fuel pressure & delivery rate high up on your suspect list. Without more clues, I agree at this point the fuel filter would be a good suspect, maybe along with a crimped/restricted fuel line, or maybe under load voltage drop to the fuel pump. So a fuel pressure & volume delivery rate over time test is in order as he has suggested. Fuel pressure at the fuel rail Schrader valve test port should be 64 +/- 8 psi & delivery rate should be 1pt/15 seconds. I also like the computer scan for trouble codes idea, as you could have more than one problem, so let us know what you find.
