problems with my sync / iphone
all, i just got a 2016 f250 with the factory sirius and sync. I use an iphone 6 and i am having a heck of a time with the sync.
I got the phone to work to make calls and answer calls, but when i press the button and tell it to use bluetooth audio, it will then lock me out of using the phone for incoming calls with the bluetooth. is that normal?
it also shows connected, but sync wont find my mobile apps.
ideas?

It's not normal in my truck.
When I use voice command, tell the truck to use Bluetooth audio, it detects and plays Pandora just fine. The caveat, of course, is that Pandora has to be selected on the phone first. Incoming and outgoing calls cause Pandora to pause. When the call is over, I have to select play again. Though I didn't try using voice to do it, I imagine that would work to get it going again.
The latest iOS is 9.2.1, have you checked that?

I didnt see why the latest os would change anything, but i can finally go ahead and install that and see what happens. not terribly impressed with sync at this point.

The different os does affect things. I have a 12 and mine works pretty well. With the latest os my music on my phone starts playing as soon as my phone connects to the truck now.
