It works but is a crap interface. The screen looks washed out and is very slow. I tried to use it but it crashed multiple times. I don't like the way it leaves your screen on the phone on. I hope they get it fixed because the way it currently works is just absolute ****. A big fail on the part of Ford and Waze to let crappy software / interface out on the market when it runs like this. All of my stuff is upto date so I know it is not an issue on my end. They just rushed a product to market before it was ready.

This was the first time i`ve ever tried/used Waze because I wanted to see why so many people like to use it.
Needless to say, I wasn`t impressed at all when I tried it last week and i`m going to stick with the factory navigation and Apple Maps and i`ve never had a problem with either of them.
Perhaps Waze will work better through the SYNC system after the bugs are worked out but right now, it`s just not ready for prime time.

I'm not using my phone, I am using the Sync 3 with my phone. I use the touch screen regularly and it's worked great.
Sometimes it doesn't seem to latch on to my location very well so I just reboot it and it works great since then. I use it for hour-long trips, never had a problem.

I have none of the experiences you describe. My Waze works flawlessly just as it does on my phone.

My WAZE works just fine on my Sync 3. My Sync software was updated to 3.0 prior to me trying it the first time.
