I want to get new shocks for my truck but am having trouble determining what size to get. I have a 4" front, 3" rear Rancho lift, but in the back I removed the blocks so the truck sits level. When I went to the Rancho site and put in my vehicle, noting came back, so I guess they don't make the lift any more, which means I can't look up what shocks I need (all the way around).
I tried looking up a stock shock length (closed and open) but wasn't able to find anything concrete.
Any ideas on this? I am not sure the shocks on there now are the right size for my lift so I wanted to try to get it right this time.
You can measure eye to eye and that should be enough info to order some.
In radical suspension applications (lots of articulation) the only way to know for sure is to do a rest measurement, full flex measurement, and full droop...all that shouldn't be necessary for stock - like suspension.
