MBRP install question

On a '97 F-250 7.3L will a turbo back installation have any negative impacts on smooth engine performance since theres no ash collector or muffler?

Save yourself the headache and get a QUALITY product.

FLO-PRO is one such product. And while you are at it, get the stainless steel version.

As for no muffler, it is purely optional. No muffler = louder and "crackly"
Muffler = quiter

First thing I did when I bought my new 2000 PSD was cut the muffler off. Made my own "Z" pipe to replace the factory muffler.

V8 diesels sound good with no muffler. It was quiet in the cab, only if you opened the rear slider did you get to hear it.
