Steering column NP435

Steering column NP435
I have a 78 F150 4x4 C6 351m column shift. Im building a 460 to go into it and mounting a NP435 on to it. Ive got all the linkages needed. But what are my options about the steering column? Do I need to get one out of a junkyard or is there a way to take shifter off of the auto column and convert it from an auto column to floor shift column.

Easiest bet (and probably cheapest) would be to start scrounging the wrecking yards. You would need to find the correct pieces anyway.........If you are lucky, you may even score the holy grail......a 4 speed tilt column......but that is doubtful LOL......I looked for years for one........finally scored one from my son in law out of a Bronco that he has had sitting for years. He didn't want to let it go, but finally decided it would be put to better use in my truck than in the forgotten Bronco LOL
