Today we picked up a Diesel water cooled 20K watt generator for $600 Needs a little work to get running right but soon it will be running right. Hopefully this generator will be more reliable then our 15K watt gas generator that we paid $3500 for.

Okay just taking a break from my project.. this is taking longer than I anticipated! I got the radiator support out and the t-case is on it's way next. Then the tranny, then finally the motor! I might take the dash out as well if I have time!
THEN I can prep the engine bay for paint and paint it tomorrow.... I hope I can get all this done today!
Those down unda' (in the Phoenix area) didn't it feel a little too warm today for the temps predicted? Maybe it was because it was sunny all day and there was no wind.
It felt a bit hotter than 80 to me. My phone said it was 71 and I could have sworn it was like 85 at that time! Oh well, at least it's not above 100 yet!
Are we doing any trail runs before it gets too hot?

Yeah I know! Normally I would love it, but I'm going to try and reclear the top of my truck since the sides are dry and I can respray the top easily now. However, I may wait until there is no chance of rain to do that!
I love the smell rains brings though and it's nice that things cooled down a little bit for now!
Alright, does anyone have ANY good advice on combating bugs at night with work-lights now that the temperatures going back up? Maybe it's impossible... working at night with the swarm of bugs is extremely annoying. At least they mostly don't bite.

Get some night vision goggles, and work in the dark

Haha yeah I wish that would be nice.....
As a different note, welding this exhaust tubing is giving some terrible smelling gasses! I've welded random things before and it's never really smelled. This downpipe that I took off the 7.3 smells really... well.. it makes me feel uncomfortable (and worried it may be dangerous) so I'm welding in small increments while holding my breath. That's how to be safe right there.
Man I don't know if it's allergies or me not drinking enough but I had a miserable headache! I only had a lab course in the morning then the rest of the day off but it was wasted with me trying to rest! Luckily, I feel better now so I hope it stays away. Now I can get back to work on trying to start my truck!
