Is this real paint Ford uses or stickers like Toyota utilizes?

It's real paint on the two tone.

I have a link (price quote) from the TRD folks who sell their versions Tundra's two-tone paint stickers that one basically sticks to the lower part of the truck.

 

Per my coworker who used to work at Ford up to the last generation F150, it's all hand masked, too. The newer trucks they follow the body lines, so that makes is a little easier on them. And the wheel lip moldings are painted separate so they just mask the whole upper half of the truck.

On our two tone truck without wheel well liners, even the inside of the wheel wells are painted two tone. You can't see it on mine with the liners.

 

I'm gonna paint the lower rockers like the factory does the KR this winter during our down time Metallic silver. Correction I'm gonna have it painted..

 

All paint. I added the red stripe.

 

That silver is going to look sharp with the blue jeans.

 

I really like the fact they follow the body lines and didn't add additional molding on the side. It also makes for easy cleaning.

I just want a simple break up of the bluejeans, Not really into all the Bling, I like the simple clean look but well thought out. After all my Truck is my work truck it pulls a 16' landscape trailer or 14' dump trailer 6 days a week.
