Cruise control servo

On my 92 I have the cruise control servo with vacuum hoses. I see on some trucks they have a different style that doesn't have vacuum hose. Is that an updated servo? Would I be able to use that style?

yes 92 to 93 they switched to electric and if you had the electric, you had a recall

if it works, leave it, less worries of electronics and no risk of a fire, the reason there was a recall because fluid would leak from the master or the abs dead, (not sure which)and get on the connections and start your fire there. the recall added a make shift fuse from ford.

You would need the complete wiring harness, servo/amplifier assembly, BPS switch to make the swap work. Not impossible with a donor.

BPS= Brake Pressure Switch
