Waterfall trip

So Apr 30th The off road gang is hosting a "Waterfalls around KS trip"

Starting out near Junction city then down south and making a loop to stop in KC- then continuing on the next day -- Should be fun!

If you want more details just ask-- I know a few of you are already going but I would say that anyone is welcome :-)

We are probably out for this one as we will be getting ready for a trip to our daughter's house.

We'll be along for the Saturday portion but will stay in KC on Sunday. Momma's gotta shop or we be in trouble! lol

I suppose it gives me more time to check out the new 4WD store too

yeah, I was trying to figure out how we could possibly fit that in to the trip, but I know my wife would not be excited about it, and I know a few others on the trip that wouldn't as well. So... Justin it is your mission, should you chose to accept it, to look it over real good and give us a full report.

I feel the same way!!! My wife on the other hand feels we are going to get attacked by rabid redneck zombie farmers, while being stalked by a chupicabra, while we drown in a waterfall from a flash flood.

Or she breaks a nail whichever comes first

Strangely, my wife is even excited about going to this. I did't expect that.

do we wish to incorporate it into a poker run? Draw a card at each stop? Small prizes? Do you think this would add to, or take away from the fun?
Do we want to try to mount a CB in the vehicles before we go?

Not to detract from the original conversation, but is there a hand-held CB that I can buy that will reach half a mile or so? I need one for the Jeep but I'm on the lazy side and don't want to wire it in, plus I could use it in the Denali for this outing.

Any suggestions?

Depends where you are at terrain wise. Lots of dense foliage - trees and such, mountains, hills etc will cut that back severely. There are some that are better than others, get what you pay for etc. Half mile should be no problem mostly.
