I've been thinking real strongly about doing my Western Kansas circle tour this fall after we get back.

Have you been out to Castle Rock and those other rock formations south of Quinter and Oakley?

If you go, watch for rattle snakes. Someone forgot to warn me of that when I was out there. I was flying my drone out there watching it, and the screen while chasing it around. In hind sight, I shouldn't have done that, but luckily I didn't see any, or feel any.

I'm in Michigan. I'll be back in September. I was thinking of going sometime the first part of October. I thought about taking the camper and start on highway 36 and circle out to St. Francis and then down to Goodland toward Elkart and do side trips along the way to see different things in Western Kansas. My thought is to do the whole state of Kansas that way, but probably in a couple of trips.

In the Northwest there are Castle Rock etc as a side trip and then up in the Northwest corner the Breaks up there. Mount Sunflower and on down to Scott Lake and the grass lands in the southwest corner. No real itinerary, but a trip to see stuff I haven't seen before or haven't be too for many years.

I have two Kansas books, that you can borrow, that talk about cool and different things to see in Kansas like he is talking about, broken down into counties. It talks about a lot about the things ^^^^ was mentioning, except I don't think it would point you to his house, or the waterfalls.

We've seen the ball of twine, Statue of Liberty, Big Brutus and a number of other things. I still think going around the perimeter would be fun.

BTW, years ago I knew a guy in Luray Kansas who joked that he lived half way between The Garden of Eden and Paradise. You guys should understand that one. Also, knew another fellow who lived in Paradise and his last name was Angel.
