Thanks!
Tire size is 235/85-16. 32" tall. Pretty much the equivalent to a 7.50x16. They are firestone transforce at. They ride good. Last forever. And have clean sidewalls. I dont like all the silly stuff on a lot of sidewalls these days. Theyre a light commercial tire. Thought hard on the destination mt, but practicality won.
good work, way to go.I dont understand why you call the steelies two piece?make me think of split rims,I was just down the basement moving my steelies around, nice job

The wheels in most of the pictures are 16" two piece wheels. Well, the ones of the 4wd anyway. Tube type, with s lock ring. I wanted to use those, and still might, depends on how they balance. The wheels i am using are regular drop center tubeless wheels tho
Looks good! I love the green, looks like the color my rig was originally. Funny, I have transforce tires tires on my rig too, for the same reasons. They look right, the price is good and they are a solid tire.
Is there any way to get a radial tire on the two piece rims? I like the look of them, not a fan of bias ply tires though.
By the way, if you ever decide to swap mirrors and want rid of the old ones, shoot me a message! The stainless ones are cool and all, but I like the painted ones.
The truck looks fantastic. I wanted to use white steel wheels (16x8 from wheel vintiques), but never go around to it.
I think that steering wheel swap is brilliant as well!
Ah the steering wheel...that was one of those things that, according to the intermess, shouldnt fit or might not fit depending on what misinformation you read. That particular wheel is from a 61 falcon. And if you have really long arms, an econoline wheel miaht be the trick. They dont have as much of a dish. They also fit. When i put the highbot steering shaft in my steering column, my horn button didnt fit. There was small piece of steel on the end of the shaft that needed to be trimmed down for the button to sit as it should. The 73 shaft didnt have that.
Thanks for the compliments
