Custom tune cost??

Custom tune cost??
What would a fella expect to pay for some custom tunes for an SCT tuner. I have a livewire and it only works on tow or street settings. When I load performance the trans wont shift properly! An sct/bullydog tech guy had a look at the tuner and said it was working fine. He went on to tell me that their performance setting only works on stock vehicles and mine has a few performance mods. He recommended a custom tune for my application. Seems strange that a "performance" tune would only work with a stock rig? I don't know if I really need a custom tune but I thought I would look into it.

I see I haven't updated my signature. My latest rig is a 2008 6.4 with a fresh 2010 motor in it. Deleted, 5" straight pipe, intake , studs and an aftermarket turbo of unknown origin.

They have some great tuning and would be able to help you out. In addition they focus on clean power not big clouds of smoke of wasted power or over aggressive timing. As far as price it just depends on the level of custom tuning. Id say 100-250.00 should be expected.
