2 Quick Questions

I need the rubber/vinyl boot that mates the E40D column shifter to the column, mine is torn to shreds. I'm talking about the boot on the actual colummn where the shifter enters it. It doesn't really do a whole lot, but i'm getting ready to replace a very worn out steering shaft and multi switch, and would like to take care of it while i'm in there. On a similar note, do you guys have any suggestions on replacing or repairing the factory leather "wrapping" on the OEM steering wheel? Mine has seen better days, but the rest of the steering wheel is fine.

2nd question - Does the graveyard no longer carry their SAS kits? I'm toying with the idea of ditching the TTB in 2016, and I don't see the the "full" kits they used to offer anymore.

Which steering wheel do you have? I know the one with the square center was offered in several other vehicles(mustangs, f series, etc) and you could probably pick one up cheap in a junk yard.

Hey Phillip, is it possible to swap the air bag equipped (square) steering wheel into a vehicle that didn't have it before? Obviously the air bag wouldn't function, but do you happen to know if the CC, horn, etc plug in, or would it require significant modifications? I only ask because I need a new wheel (whole column actually), and the square, air bag models seem to be more readily available (probably because their newer).
