I own a 95 f150 with the 5.0L 302. It's been giving me issues lately. I started my truck up one day and it died immediately. Didn't think much of it so I started it again. Idled normal at first then ran up to about 2500 to 3000 rpms on its own and the check engine light flashed 4 times then went back to normal. Does this almost everytime I start it now. Ran an EEC test on it and got a code 632 (trans control switch circuit didn't change states during KOER self test). Kind of stumped and don't know what to do. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

 

That code means either you didn't press the OD button while running self test, or the button doesn't work.

 

I highly suggest you run the Key On Engine Off (KOEO) tests and stored code display.
