Over the summer my '93 f-150 flareside with the E40D automatic transmission went out. I purchased a atsg rebuild manual and a rebuild kit and rebuilt the transmission.
I put a used transmission pump and a new torque converter and got it all put back together. When I started it up and shifted into reverse drive etc.. Nothing seemed to engage but it did start idling a little higher. Any help is appreciated thanks.

If there is enough fluid, get a 0-350 PSI gauge and install it in the test port. Check the pressures at idle with the PRND21 in each position.
