Earliest PSD build date you've seen?

Just curious as I have a 3/94 powerstroke powered f250. I'm buying in the morning

And yes vin indicates PSD. As does the actual engine. And it's a 1 owner fleet truck

Look at the serial number on the engine, that will tell just how close it is to the first. The truck I parted out had a reman engine so I will never know just how close to the first or was...

By the way, your air filter is SHOT!!! If your gunna run the truck you must get a new one, looks like someone tried to use ether and blew it apart.

The build date is on the front of the HPOP res right above the water pump, I can almost make it out in the pic.

The serial number is stamped above the oil filter.

I really hope that air filter broke recently, otherwise it doesn't bode well for the internals of the inside of your engine and turbo considering all the other grime everywhere.

I do find it interesting it still uses the IDI radiator w/overflow bottle though. Every OBS PSD I've seen uses the pressure-bottle cooling system with a cap-less radiator.

Too much grime to make out serial # at this moment. Tomorrow will change that.

Looks like March 15, 1994

Fairly certain it did. I'm fixing to do the 6637 filter.

The 94's and early 95's used the IDI radiator. My 95 was built Nov 94 and the IDI radiator was a unpleasant surprise when I went to fix a leak in the cooling system with parts that claimed they worked with 95's.

I'd imagine March of 94 has got to be one of the first...
