Dorman 6.0 Trans cooler??

I can get one from Partsgeek or Rockauto for $155 w/ shipping.

I know lots of folks have opinions about Dorman products so I'm not looking for random thoughts.

I'm looking for actual Dorman 6.0 Trans cooler experience good or bad.

TIA, Paul

I got my Dorman off Amazon about 8 months ago. Installed it and haven't had any issues at all.

Installed one on my truck 4 months or so ago. I have installed the real deal n other trucks I have had. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference if you didn't know. No problems so far.

I'm running the Dorman also, no issues as of yet. Installed in August last year.

I know of many positive Dorman attributes.

They're less expensive and most times fit is not an issue. Critical Items they fall short many times.

But, I am avid that OEM far exceeds where required for uninterrupted service life. I use OEM for any fluid filled part, Filter or Cooler.

Its too expensive in the long run not go the extra $$.

Good Enough, is not Good Enough, hauling a 5er or having the family with me when things go south.

Well, I just (Saturday) installed mine along with a magnefine filter and a fluid thermostat, I also upgraded 95% of my transmission lines to 1/2". . I got my Dorman for $105 new off eBay. I actually pm'd Mark K about the dorman cooler and he said he go with a new dorman vs a used OEM.

Post #100... This is getting as bad as the Wrangler Forum.

I noticed this under my O'reilly account not too long ago and have been wondering about offering it.

Between the valve body upgrade, a 6.0 trans cooler, and a magnefine filter, those are what helps a 4R100 last.

While I almost always prefer OEM, sometimes OEM is a bit pricy and either I or the people I work with can't afford it, even with my discount at the Dealer.

After reading this, I'll be using this one myself for whoever needs it.

Towed the trailer all last spring/summer/fall last year through our mountain passes with a fresh trans and Dorman cooler. Works fantastic.

Ahhh, I was confused that you may have meant to post something about a coupon or a special offer.
