Help with vin plate decoding especially the trans number

f10 - 1956 F-100 Conventional
V O.H.V. 8 Cylinder-2V Carb (L/D)-272 cid
6 1956
P St Paul
11616 Production Number


Im not positive on what the rest means any help is greatly appreciated as this is a third family generation truck.
