1953 F-100 Trim

I've currently have an 53 F-100 being fully restored and I'm trying to get all the pieces together for final assembly. It was a custom edition truck when it rolled off the line and it had a piece of chrome trim that went on the front of the cab, up above the windshield and ended behind the doors.

The original chrome trim got damage and I was wondering if anyone knows if and where I could get this piece of trim, it seems pretty rare though. Anything will help.

Thanks

Thanks for the reference John, I have bad news as the trim is extremely hard to find and you are 2 weeks too late

While you are here Kevin what would you value a wiper motor for a 56...electric?

Tempting, but eBay apparently decided we're all LL Bean now, and that any item can be returned for a full refund, for whatever reason, even up to a year later or somesuch.

Whatever happened to "All Sales Final"?; especially when talking about unique or antique items, vintage electrical items, easily pilferable or swapped out items?

Selling on eBay, seems like they ruined it in a lot of ways.

That trim is extremely difficult to remove without twisting it or otherwise damaging it. I have a set that I offered to a guy on this forum...he never followed through even though the price was a fraction of what that set went for on ebay.
