P2290 code

Okay I'm sure this is been brought up before but there are so many posts to look through. I have a 2007 F250 6.0 L with 116000 miles. I have never done any modifications or changed anything on the truck. Now that the weather is starting to warm up I've noticed that once the truck is at operating temperature it starts to chug and sometimes even die while driving and while its doing this the truck has no power. It does not seem to do it when its cold. Here is a picture of my gauges KOEO operating temp @ idle:

Your IPR shows 85%, it should be around 22%. You may have an internal leak in the HPO system.

Does that number change on the road or when chugging?

It does change it fluctuates. Sometimes it will be between 26% and 75% depending on throttle position. When it's acting up I've seen the numer at 14% and 85%. Today it's 50 degrees out and at KOEO @ idle and normal operating temperature it showed 85.

14% is fully closed or KOEO. 85% is fully open and waiting for pressure that never comes. At 26% warm idle... that's says you have a leak as well, it should be 21-23% but 26% is to high.

Pull the IPR and check the screen, replace if damaged and then try again. Air test after that and possible replacement of HPOP.
