1987 Stering Column Broken

1987 Stering Column Broken
The steering wheel unlocks, electrical works, but won't start nor will the shift lever unlock.
When I turn the cylinder to start the truck, it rotates too far forward and never engages the starter nor is there any spring kickback. I had to disassemble the linkage underneath to shift it into drive, then jump the solenoid to get home.
I'm not finding the diagram I need to figure out what part I need to fix this. I would swap a column with another truck, but my other trucks are ZF5s.
Any ideas?
