Removing pulley on smog pump on 460

My smog pump is seizing up on my 1988 F350 460. I would like to just remove the pulley and run the shorter belt bypassing the pump. Is there a special tool to pull the pulley and just leave the pump in place or is it just a few bolts? Thanks a bunch!

That sounds easy enough. I'm just not ready to take everything off yet and need to get truck back on the road. The pump is seizing up and slipping the belt.

Do you have to actually remove the pump to get the pulley off or do these bolts just hold the pulley on? Im assuming there is enough clearance for the pump to stay and use the shorter belt to bypass it.

You can remove the pulley with the pump on the truck. Very easy job. Literally 5 minutes start to finish. I can post up the belt length I used later today, don't remember it off the top of my head, searching this forum will also get you the answer.

Got the shorter belt size from other forums. Crawled under truck and see the 3 bolts...looks super easy. That will be a welcome change from all the other problems I'm having with this truck! LOL Thank you for the advice!

Ok dumbest question ever...I left the belt on to loosen the bolts but the pulley is still wanting to spin when I try to loosen a bolt. Is this a 2 wrench job? Any other tricks? I'm sure it's something really dumb I'm missing.

I believe I used a small pry bar/screw driver leveraged between 2 bolts to hold it still.
