I've been really enjoying my Connect cargo van. It's comfortable, it's zippy, and it carries the load and pulls the trailer nicely.
But there is one niggling negative that irks me; the tilt wheel. The wheel does not really tilt; the whole column tilts up and down and it pushes and pulls in and out--but the wheel itself does not tilt.
If I bring the column down and out to what is comfortable then the column hits my knee in getting in and out. When I have the column up the wheel is at an awkward position for my hands and wrists.
That's the worst complaint I have and as far as I know I may be the only Connect owner with this problem. So far, everything else is all good.
Many people simply get in the habit of moving the wheel up whenever they exit and putting it back down when they enter.
Because of the strength needed for the airbag to protect you, I don't think there is any wheel that tilts without the whole column pivoting, with a sturdy mounting point under the dash.
