The Garret used on powerstrokes is a beautiful match for a 7.3 sizing wise (see the IDI turbocharger thread). Unfortunately the first gens had a very large 1.15? AR exhaust housing which is a little laggy, but flows well, (comparable to the non wastegated banks, hypermax and ATS kits). You can get 1.0 AR housings for them, but lose the EBPV. They will flow enough to support a 110cc DB2. Like mentioned above, the oil feed and return lines are built into the pedestal, which wont bolt to an IDI. Takes a little bit of doing to make work. In any case, the powerstroke manifolds do not bolt to the IDI, or so it is said, going to find out first hand in a couple weeks just to know.
To go through all the effort to fab exhaust and intake piping, you might as well just get a better turbo. Considering that a T3 housing is a T3 housing. LOTS of turbos will bolt to the "stock" turbo piping and can be made to work fairly easy. IMHO, the PSD turbo wont give you anything a "stock" turbo wont, unless running at least a 90cc pump, except for the EBPV.
OP: Engine looks good. Do you have any kind of comparison between the stock wheels and the wicked as far as performance?

Sadly no, it was NA previously. Needed a wheel and it wasn't much more than the stock wheel from my turbo rebuilder so I went for it
