a 2WD wont work in a 4WD, vice versa. I don't know about the plug ins, and sometimes those can be different. based on my experience on Fords, Ford likes to change stuff every 2 years. I don't know whether your truck has the 4R70W or 4R75W............ but I would suspect the wiring and plug ins are going to be different.
